Current Projects Bega Strategies SES, in conjunction with Elton Consulting, was commissioned by Bega Valley Shire Council to develop four strategies for the region; Economic Development, Affordable housing, Ageing Population and the Youth Strategy. This process commenced in late May 2010 and includes:
South East Resource Recovery Regional Organisation of Councils (SERRROC) strategy options SES was commissioned by SERRROC to look 'over the horizon' at issues and emerging trends related to waste management and resource recovery for SERRROC member Councils with a particular emphasis on data collection. This project included a literature review, interviews with Councils, Industry and other organisations, economic forecasting and analysis and preparation of a report on options and scenarios. The report and recommendations was presented to SERRROC in early July 2010. Southern Adelaide Cleantech Incubator Feasibility Study and Business Plan SES was selected to prepare a detailed assessment of growth needs of cleantech businesses in Adelaide as a precursor to assessing the feasibility of establishing a dedicated cleantech incubator in Southern Adelaide. The project is currently underway and is due to be completed by the end of July 2010. Wagga Wagga Business Survey SES is currently completing analysis and interpretation of a survey of Wagga Businesses. The in-depth, 70 question survey was completed by over 200 Wagga business. This project is due for completion in late July 2010. Camellia Socio Economic Impact Assessment SES, in conjunction with Elton Consulting, has recently been commissioned to look at the socio economic impact of a proposed intergrated recycling facility in Camellia, NSW. This project is due to commence in July 2010. Cooroy Incubator Feasibility Study SES was selected to prepare a detailed feasibility study for establishing a business incubator in Cooroy, Qld.
