increase access to and promote use of services available through telecommunication networks

reduce the gaps in quality and cost between urban and non urban Australia

Communities are encouraged to identify their particular needs and propose solutions for funding.

Untimed Local Calls
|

The Government is providing funding to install the additional infrastructure necessary to provide untimed local calls within outer extended zones in remote Australia, and to provide a new cheaper preferential rate for calls to community service towns.
